Amirim is a great little place to stop by if you’re into the green hills of northern Israel. It’s just above the Kinneret and near the beautiful city of Tzefat, overlooking the north’s green forests. Instead of simply passing by, we recommend that you take the time to get to know the area and let that great view sink in. The north of Israel is known for the variety of small, intimate “Tzimmers” or guest rooms, made mostly for couples. It lets you enjoy the more secluded and beautiful places in Israel without compromising style or luxury. Tziur Nof is one of those places. Located 500 meters above sea level, the rooms here offer a spectacular bird’s eye view of the entire area. It’s sitting in a quiet corner of the town, and the height means you’ll get to wake up surrounded by clouds and rolling hills. The rooms are actually not really rooms, but more giant rounded tents (Yurt), which fits in with nature, with all the natural wood and open spaces.

Right next to your private yurt, you’ll find one of this place’s best features – the heated private pools. With a view of the beautiful Kinneret and the incredible peace all around – it’s the perfect place to unwind and really appreciate the beauty that Israel has to offer.
If you want to indulge in some modern amenities, fear not. The yurts have you covered in everything you can hope to find in a luxury hotel: A jacuzzi (embedded in the floor, actually), a brand new home theater system, a kitchenette with an espresso machine, and complimentary wine and beers. Even if you’re watching a movie from your jacuzzi (or your king-size bed), you won’t be able to get away from the stunning view seen through the huge windows (which are the exit to your private deck).
Israel has so many places calling themselves “Tzimmers,” and in return for a great location, settle for a subpar experience. Tziur Nof managed to create a wonderful combination of an incredible location with an unbeatable view and a luxurious experience, usually reserved for expensive hotels. If you’re planning on exploring the north of Israel, especially if you’re traveling as a couple, we recommend spending at least a night over here. You won’t regret it.
