The best non-touristy beach at the southernmost part of Tel Aviv!
This is a breathtakingly beautiful beach – white silky sand, turquoise water, amazing views, and one great restaurant facing the beach. Here you can find a mixed culture, on the one hand, locals with burkas from Jaffa and on the other hand, hippies from Tel Aviv that come here to escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. If you were searching for a more private piece of the beach- go to the south part, where you’ll find a truly romantic strip.
At the entrance of the Ajami beach, there is an excellent Mediterranean Restaurant – Cassis. The two best things about this restaurant are the location (right on the beach!) and the delicious food- fresh fish and seafood coming directly from Jaffa. Must try – creamed shrimp with artichoke, house-made hamburger, and sweet potato fries!
